The Family Behind Bonito
Chef Maurizio Bombini grew up in Puglia, in Italy’s south, before working across Europe, the US, China, and eventually Bali — including several years leading the kitchen at a luxury resort before starting his own restaurants.
MAURI came first in 2018. Bonito followed in 2022 as a more relaxed, seafood-focused sister concept. Zia Tina joined the family most recently, bringing rustic, home-style Puglian cooking to Seminyak. All three are members of the Bali Restaurant & Café Association.

MAURI — Fine Dining Italian, Elevated
MAURI is the fine dining anchor of the family, located on Jl. Petitenget No. 100, Seminyak.
